Fritz
Fritz is a semi-professional tribute band impersonator, one of a pool of folk who get called in to play in the fake famous bands peddling their wares in service clubs and small pubs across the country. Fritz doesn’t get that much work, as he stubbornly insists on specialising in Lemmy from Motörhead, rather than any of the other less popular members of that band. Unfortunately, the agency already has dozens of younger Lemmies on their books. At best, he gets some early to mid-week spots, but it’s been years since he’s had a Friday or Saturday night Lemmy. He’s seriously considering changing his specialty to Bjorn from Abba, who is in great demand, and Fritz is seen here in full ‘70s Bjorn costume. His wife hasn’t said anything, but she’s preparing for him being around home a bit more than just in the weekends.
Fritz is also an articulated ceramic wall puppet and he is modelled by hand in stoneware clay, twice fired, decorated with ceramic glazes, and finished with a cold glaze. He is approximately 32 cm long, and can hang on the wall by nail, hook or tack.
