Irving Wringling IV
$200.00
— Sold out
There’s not a day goes past when Irving doesn’t feel burdened by the weight of family expectations to make his life as a circus performer like so many previous generations of Irving Wringlings before him. Even now, as the circus strongman and well and truly no longer a child, he still dreams of running away from the circus to become an accountant.
Irving is also an articulated ceramic wall puppet and he is modelled by hand in stoneware clay, twice fired, decorated with ceramic glazes, and finished with a cold glaze. He is pictured here with friend Jolene Raylene McLean, someone he bonded with because of being cursed with a similarly burdensome name. He is approximately 32 cm long, and can hang on the wall by nail, hook or tack.
